Web design trends for 2026

Web design in 2026 leaves interchangeable templates behind and puts the brand back at the centre. The sites that stand out are no longer trying to merely «look nice»: they aim to communicate a clear personality in the first few seconds. These are the trends we are applying across projects.

Big, characterful typography

Type has become the leading graphic element. Large headlines, strong contrast and fonts with personality replace generic stock imagery. It is a fast, lightweight way to convey brand tone without hurting performance.

Motion with intent

Animation has matured: it no longer decorates, it guides. Scroll reveals, microinteractions and smooth transitions help users understand structure. The key is restraint and always honouring the «reduce motion» preference for accessibility.

Generative AI built into the product

Artificial intelligence moves from buzzword to part of the product: search that understands natural language, assistants that answer questions and content that adapts to each visitor. Applied well, it improves conversion and experience.

In short

Less noise, more intent. A 2026 website should be fast, accessible, recognisable and useful. If yours isn't there yet, now is a good time to rethink it.
